Privacy policy
Bemo.cc is a small, independently run publication. This page explains what happens with your data in plain terms.
Last updated: July 28, 2026.
What we collect
Bemo has no user accounts and doesn't require you to submit personal information to read anything on the site. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data for every visit, things like IP address, browser type and pages requested, the same way most web servers do. We don't cross-reference that with any other identifying information.
Search
Site search runs entirely in your browser and doesn't send your queries to a server.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send the newsletter and closely related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Affiliate links
Bemo participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set its own cookies to track the referral, governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for details on how those links work.
Analytics
Bemo uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages get read, how long people stay and what device or browser they're using. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address, approximate location and on-site behavior under Google's own privacy policy. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site and don't use it to identify individual visitors.
Other links
Articles link to Amazon and, occasionally, other external sites. Once you leave Bemo, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Children's privacy
Bemo is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
