EDITORIAL POLICY

How Bemo chooses what to recommend.

Every recommendation answers three things: who it's for, why it's the better fit for that person, and what they're trading off to get it.

1. We define the buyer before the winner

"Best" only means something once the use case is clear. Each guide starts from a specific problem, a specific environment and a specific buyer, not a generic product category.

2. Claims are backed by evidence, not assumed testing

We do not claim a product was personally tested unless that testing genuinely took place and is disclosed in the article. Most recommendations are built from manufacturer specifications, primary documentation and structured comparison of publicly available information, and we say so plainly rather than implying hands-on use that didn't happen.

3. We explain trade-offs

A recommendation without a drawback is advertising. Every pick includes its meaningful limitations, the alternatives worth considering and the kind of buyer who should skip it.

4. Affiliate relationships stay outside editorial judgment

Whether a product pays a commission, and how much, never changes whether it's covered or how it's ranked. Amazon Associates links are the site's revenue mechanism, not its editorial input.

5. We don't invent facts

Prices, availability, ratings, review counts and specifications are only published when they can be sourced. If a detail can't be verified, we omit it or say clearly that it's unconfirmed rather than guessing.

6. Guides get revisited

Buying guides are reviewed when products are discontinued, replacements are released, prices materially change or the market shifts enough to change the recommendation.

7. How we publish and take responsibility

Articles are credited to Bemo Editorial, which means Bemo is accountable for the research, recommendations and corrections. Before publication, consequential claims must be traceable to a source, affiliate relationships must be disclosed and research-based conclusions must not be presented as personal testing. Each article carries publication and updated dates so readers can judge how current it is.

8. Corrections

If you spot an error, an outdated spec or a broken link, tell us at our contact page and we'll review it. Confirmed errors get fixed and the article's updated date reflects the change.

Every article is held to one test: would it still be worth reading if every affiliate link were removed? If not, we don't publish it.
